The Twelve Days Of Christmas

Ye gods, with all the thanks in the world to sabethea for putting me on to this one...

On the twelfth day of Christmas, swordznsorcery sent to me...
Twelve dragons drumming
Eleven Methos piping
Ten books a-leaping
Nine trilobites dancing
Eight megalodons a-milking
Seven sharks a-writing
Six pirates a-reading
Five fo-o-o-ossils
Four dinosaurs
Three Westerns
Two Kronos
...and a Highlander in an I Love Lucy.
Get your own Twelve Days:

Best. Christmas. Song. Ever. :) And two Kronoses. Kroni? At any rate, it's just as well I have eleven piping Methoses to keep them all in order. The mind boggles. But is happy while it does it. And dancing trilobites, hurrah. C'mon, everyone. Let's see yours!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and find out how to milk a megalodon. John Barrowman might know...

Are the pirates reading the books the sharks are writing? Enquiring minds want to know ;)

Also, I love the idea of a Highlander in I Love Lucy!

Well, there is that episode where Lucy and Ricky are visiting Scotland, and Lucy falls asleep and dreams that Ricky is a noble Highland warrior trying to rescue her from a two-headed dragon...

That one is hilarious. The bit where Ricky has to be Scottish is one of the best bits of telly ever. He just sort of looks at the audience, as though to say "You do know what my accent is like, right?", and the whole place falls apart.

I used to have a Ricky icon. I wonder what happened to it...

The pirates are definitely reading the sharks' books, yes. The sharks are not telling how they wrote the things, though. That's a trade secret!

Can I just say how happy it makes me to be a dalek every time I comment on your posts?

(If not, pretend the above sentence doesn't exist.)

It's a very simple bit of coding that you stick in your custom css box (journal style >> customise your theme >> custom css). All you need is a customised image. I drew the Dalek in MS Paint, as a 17x17 pixel .gif, then uploaded it to PhotoBucket. I can dig out the coding for you if you want.
