Music meme day three

Day Three: A song that reminds you of summertime.

I have no idea why, but for some reason the soundtrack to Buster always sounds hugely summery to me. Maybe I bought it in the summer? The film is rubbish, but the soundtrack is great, and I bought it almost as soon as I saw the film, way back in 1988. Maybe there was a really good summer that year? I have literally no idea. But it's an album that shouts summer at me. So here's the first track on the album, Two Hearts, by Phil Collins:

(Don't worry, it's not the video, so you don't have to actually look at him.)

Bonus song, because obviously this should ideally be listened to on a beautiful day, which I suppose makes it sort of summery:

There's something in 80s pop music that that suggests a hot summer's day to me. 'It's a kind of Magic' reminds me of summer:)

That's not pop, it's rock! :p 1986. Gods, that was a long time ago...

If it ain't Motorhead, it ain't rock;p

If we pretend 1986 isn't a long time ago will it become true?

1986 was the year I started secondary school. It can't be long ago enough.

I think the only Motorhead song that I have is "Ace Of Spades". Clearly I fail at rock. :)

I love It's a Beautiful Day. You can hear the sunrise in the beginning. It's simply lovely.

It really is, isn't it. There's some terrific stuff on that album, but none of it seems as well known as their earlier stuff, which is a shame.
