The 1st International Clarence Clemons Day

Okay, so technically it's only an official day in Jersey. But that's nearly international. Anyhow, a day celebrating the biggest man the world has ever seen isn't something I was going to let the Americans keep, so here are videos and music and loudness. And the biggest man in the world, obviously.

Out In The Street (NYC, July 1st 2000)

Detroit Medley (Houston, December 8th 1978)

Jungleland (NYC, June 29th 2000)

Thunder Road (Los Angeles, October 2nd 1985)

If I Should Fall Behind (NYC, July 1st 2000)

Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) (Washington DC, November 24th 1980)

Happy Clarence Clemons Day!

Hello! See, i found my way back to LJ for the occasion. :) Knew I could count on you for videos! That version of "Jungleland" is just awe-inspiring. David and I watched Hammersmith 75 last night to mark the day. Im guessnig you watched New York 2000, because you're you. ;)

There needs to be a Danny Day too though.

I may have watched that. Maybe...

"Prove It All Night" is so awesome. Max and Nils look in need of a cigarette by the end, and if Max leapt any higher off his stool during "My Love Will Not Let You Down" he'd be in danger of hitting his head on the ceiling.

And yes, there should be a Danny Day. No reason why there shouldn't be an unofficial one.
