Tales Of Television Centre

If there is anybody out there who is fond of vintage TV, and has not yet watched last night's fantastic BBC4 documentary, Tales Of Television Centre, then do so now. It's a terrific celebration of the best building in the world, and everybody should see it. Those outside the UK will probably need a proxy to get past the BBC iPlayer's patrolling guard pirahnas, though. (Sorry).

Ninety minutes of the most glorious archive clips, and interviews with a cavalcade of people who were making television in days gone by. Behind the scenes footage, bits of programmes that haven't seen daylight in years, and anecdotes worth hearing. It's available for the next ten days, but you should watch it straight away just because. Or technically nine days now, I suppose. Nine and a bit. Whatever.

It's geek heaven, anyway. Quite splendidly so.
