Damn.

John Barrowman's The Night Tonight's The Night Is The Night Tonight Night (I can never remember what the blasted thing is called) starts again next Saturday, and I was going to give it a miss. It's hellishly sugary, and makes Liberace's latter-day years in Las Vegas seem cutting edge and modern. I just saw the trailer for the first episode, though, and Lee Mead's in it.

Well that's just sneaky.

Please, Barrowman, no spangly synchronised dance routines to Queen songs this time? Please?!

Tonight's The Night
So while I'm waiting to be able to see it... how was the 1st episode? What did John sing? Was Lee in the episode?

Re: Tonight's The Night
I have no idea what JB sang for the most part! He opened with a chorus of something that I've never heard before, then he sang Unforgettable later, and then he closed with something else that I've never heard of, but that might well have been called Let's Get Loud. And it was all very Barrowman, ie: with more cheese and make-up than anybody else could possibly get away with!

Lee was there, yes, along with an ex-Nancy and a fairy. He didn't sing, which I already knew thanks to somebody who was at the taping. This isn't really the show for it anyway of course, as it's about other people, but I do wish he and JB would duet some time. No idea what they could sing, though.
